What is the standard thermal conductivity of XPS board?

How about the waterproof and moisture-proof performance of XPS board?


XPS board has an ultra-high closed-cell rate and dense impermeable structure, with volumetric water absorption usually lower than 1%. It is far superior to ordinary insulation boards, hardly absorbs moisture in long-term humid, underground and roof environments, and maintains stable thermal insulation performance.

What are the common fire ratings of XPS board?

What is the service life of XPS board?

Why is XPS board necessary for floor heating?


Floor heating requires insulation materials with high compression resistance, low water absorption and stable deformation performance. XPS board can bear the load of floor backfilling and furniture, effectively block downward heat loss, improve heating efficiency, and resist moisture and mildew, perfectly adapting to the long-term closed working environment of floor heating systems.

How long is the curing period after XPS board construction?


At room temperature of about 20℃, the board shall be cured for no less than 24 hours after pasting before backfilling or finishing construction. The curing period shall be extended to 48–72 hours in low-temperature, high-humidity and rainy environments to ensure qualified bonding strength.

What is the difference between fluorine-free XPS board and ordinary XPS board?


Fluorine-free XPS board adopts environmentally friendly foaming technology, complies with the Montreal Protocol, causes no ozone layer damage and features low carbon and environmental protection, suitable for green buildings, fine decoration and export projects. Ordinary fluorine-containing XPS board has lower cost and is mostly used for ordinary infrastructure projects.
